TheCoinRadar ICO World Cup 2018 – QF 1 Result2

The results of the 2nd Quarter Final of the ICO World Cup are now in with PDATA securing first place and FTEC claiming second.

This round had a clear front runner from the very start, with PDATA immediately pushing ahead. They were then able to carry this momentum through to day two and claim victory with an incredible 56% of the vote.

The fight for second place was a more closely-contested battle. FTEC, Lightstreams and Countinghouse were back and forth throughout the final eight hours of voting, until a late surge from FTEC pushed ahead in the final few hours of the vote to take the second spot in the semi-finals. Well done guys!

PDATA  and FTEC’s success must be tempered by the fact that there were only 84 votes cast in this round, compared to 444 votes in QF1. They both have much work to do to progress to the final.

Regardless, FTEC and PDATA join Blockshipping and Multiversum in Semi-Final 1 on the 22nd of June. Remember to keep this date in your diary, this is not one to be missed!

Both PDATA and FTEC are projects we’ve been following closely and are well deserved of their spots in the semi-finals:

PDATA

Opiria & PDATA have taken a new and much-welcomed stance on the control and spread of personal data. The project aims to become a decentralised marketplace that will allow the user to filter what personal data they wish to share. Not only will the consumer be able to control the stream of data given to companies, they will also be able to create a passive income stream by selling their chosen data to businesses.

PDATA enters the market as a personal data solution at a time when discussion of data and privacy are firmly in the spotlight. The project has a genuine use case incorporating a meaningful use of blockchain technology; there is an existing product, a good development team and an impressive existing customer base including automotive giants Mercedes Benz and General Motors.

Their team carries respect in the crypto  community, having built a good reputation for trading signals and building an team with valuable experience creating algorithmic trading tools. from past products.

The ICO has detailed documentation for investors and an experienced team and, whilst the use case of the actual token is questionable, there is a great use case for the platform as a whole. We plan to cover FTEC in an in-depth ICO review over the coming weeks.
