Tesla’s Elon Musk is auctioning down a non-fungible token (NFT)-based “artwork,” with bids now on the mark that is million-dollar.
Tweeted later on the NFT features a gold trophy decorated with “diamond hands,” Shiba Inu dogs (presumably referencing dogecoin), a moon and the crypto term “HODL,” all tastefully rotating and gleaming for some home music Monday.
In typical style that is joking Musk – whom officially became “Technoking of Tesla” on Monday – announced the headlines, saying, “I’m selling this song about NFTs as an NFT.”
Bids for the tweet on the Valuables (by Cent) marketplace have now been rolling in and, during the time of book, the bid that is highest arises from @sinaEstavi at $1.12 million.
NFTs would be the latest sector that is white-hot the electronic asset space, with a-listers lining up to introduce art or music cryptographically from the digital tokens. On, an NFT artwork by crypto musician Beeple had been sold for a record $69.3 million by major auction house Christie’s Thursday.
