Kraken is reportedly in talks to raise money that is new a move that could understand company’s valuation soar to brand new levels.

The cryptocurrency that is u.S.-based happens to be in conversations with Fidelity, Tribe Capital and General Atlantic to raise an unknown amount, according to a written report by Bloomberg on Thursday.

If authorized and arranged, the money that is new significantly more than increase the company’s $4 billion valuation to around $10 billion, based on numbers cited within the report.

The report cites individuals near to the matter who’ve requested anonymity as a result of issues concerning the deal’s secrecy.

In 2019, Kraken raised $13.5 million in a financing round that saw over 2,000 individuals buying in. The exchange’s had been forced by the move valuation above the $4 billion mark.
